About the Author
James Walpole is a writer, startup marketer, intellectual explorer, and perpetual apprentice. He is an alumnus of Praxis and a FEE Eugene S. Thorpe Fellow. He writes regularly at jameswalpole.com.
What inspired you to start writing?
Praxis! Even before my time in the startup apprenticeship program, founder Isaac Morehouse was encouraging us to write. Daily blogging practices from people like him and TK Coleman helped to inspire me.
What are your hobbies / interests?
I love history, philosophy, trail running, photography, brand-building, startup work, and trying out new skills.
Who are your personal heroes?
Do they have to be real? I'm a big Ned Stark/Jon Snow fan.
Who are your favorite writers?
I love the unique styles (and ideas) of writers like Ayn Rand, C.S. Lewis, Jordan Peterson, Seneca, Christopher Hitchens, and Nassim Taleb, to name a few.
